I began to read this series beginning with "Starlight on Stone-South. I continued with North,East, and West. Finally the book that ties them all together "Crux" What captured me even though I am a Sci/Fi/Fantasy Fan was the characters and location of the stories. Being a Christian and studied the Bible, there are mentions in there of Tribes like Hittites, Moabites, and many more. However, this series, although fiction, gives some insight to civilizations surrounding the Holy Land. These are real people trying to survive at a time when the world was in turmoil. The area is what is now Turkey and the Middle East. Dynasties and Kingdoms are crumbling and the people are lost. I highly recommend this series, from the first one you will be hooked.
