Written in charming rhyme we encounter baby animals in the forest learning from their teacher the owl. The owl asks significant questions of the class about how do they know things and the class answers because they can see or touch or smell them. But what about things we can't see or touch or smell - how about feelings? The focal point turns to how do they know their mommy loves them and each has a reason, proving that a mother's love is real because we feel it. When a kitten recalls an incident when losing his temper, the class is informed that the mother said her love was unconditional. The kitten decides to rectify behavior by creating a note card that says he love his mom - and the rest of the class follows suit.

And Ayala adds that the class has the same response to their dads - they love both their parents unconditionally. This is a very sweet tale, beautifully told and illustrated - a book children will cherish as they share it with parents they love. Grady Harp, April 15

Like the other books of Ayala I enjoyed to read the wonderful new book. The book is exciting and cleaver and shows how Ayala understand the soul of the children and by learning and playing they speak about their feeling and understand that their mom will love them always at all condition and Dad too. it is a book for all the family and I recommend it from all my heart.
