Cats are probably one of the most mysterious and unpredictable creatures that have attracted us from time immemorial.
All About Cats is a very successful attempt to get closer to understanding that mystery.
Very special stories told by Freddy the Cat are a pure source of insight. Although these many short tales are ‘all about cats,’ they also are incredibly close to our own real lives. And most importantly, they clearly and vividly illustrate what we usually lose sight of in a series of their everyday routines. By reading this book, you will remind yourself that it is in your power to create and change your life the way you want it to be.
The author managed to fill the book with originality, kindness, and interesting details about the cat's life. A real page-turner!

Although it was clear from the title that the book would be about cats, both the content and the manner of presentation were a complete surprise. It is so unusual to experience the cat world through the words of one of its furry, little representatives.
Captivating facts from the cat’s mythology and history, interesting details of their food preferences and warrior night vision, lofty phrases on the lifeline clock, and even day and night personalities – this is just a small part of what I got acquainted with on the pages of this truly enjoyable compilation of stories from Tygo Lee.
Read on and take your time exploring the wide range оf stories told by the narrator, Freddy the Cat.

You could read a lot of books about cats by many writers, but their collected knowledge would probably not help you fully comprehend where these graceful animals came from, what they want from you, how they see the world around them, and what they think.
In many places nowadays, people not only perceive cats as a domestic animal with a set of instincts, but as a real friend who gives us their love. This is a completely different level of relationship between humans and animals, and that is why Tygo Lee's book, which reveals the secrets of understanding them in a fascinating and interesting way, should be a real surprise for cat lovers.
All About Cats, an entertaining compilation of tales, offers you not only the most important aspects of cats' behavior, but also the subtle nuances of their psychology and worldview in the form of the first-person narration from Freddy the Cat.
A unique and well-written book, the best I've read about pets.

Tygo Lee must love cats a lot!
This book has around 50 flowing chapters—each one being a short story narrated by Freddy the Cat. Yes, Freddy himself gives us a huge amount of fun details and sound advice about so many different topics related to his own species. Who better than a cat to teach us about cats!
As promised, All About Cats is both entertaining and educational, with a touch of humor thrown in everywhere. I really liked the history part when cats were worshiped in Ancient Egypt. Very cool!
This seems like a great read for teenagers as well as adults, and could be a story time book for young children too. Enjoy!

Did you ever want to learn more about cats? I mean, they’re such wonderful (although sometimes scratchy) creatures, and this is a book dedicated solely to them. Presented by Freddy the Cat, this little guide to felines will give you a pretty good idea of what life on four legs is all about. It’s a light-hearted, fun, and at times emotionally candy-wrapped reading in the author’s easy-flowing narrative.
From the history of cats to the description of their habits, All About Cats really does offer just about everything you’d expect to hear from a cat describing his life. As a cat caretaker, all the chapters struck a chord with me one way or another. For example, you’ll surely like the chapters of how cats adapt to their caretaker’s routine, or how they play around.
So, if you want to “get inside a cat’s head a little,” give this one a shot. If you share your life with a cat or not, I think you’ll enjoy it all the same, and have lots of fun reading it.

For the author, cats are the source of inspiration, the object of love, a cure for the hardships of life, and a symbol of independence. I am also inspired by these animals. They do not know how to lie. They are strong and sincere, like nature itself. I can look at them for hours and read about them endlessly, seeing only their grace, close to “purrfection”!
All About Cats is a collection of amusing, funny, and very touching stories that will not leave you indifferent. The book contains illustrative, sensual, capacious short stories, each one of them embracing a whole world. Reading it will not take much time, but it will definitely brighten it! Especially if you love cats and know what a cat's love is.
This book is simply permeated with kindness and love for these beautiful, furry creatures. Every story has an impact in its own way and evokes deep feelings and impressions: For example, "In Bast We Trust" is a historical fable with a magic touch of Egyptian legends, including the life-affirming and wise realities of “loving union and harmony” followed by the sad but very powerful “when death do us part”.
In brief, All About Cats is an incredibly warm, bright, “furry” book, through the pages of which you can hear happiness purring. Definitely will wait for more cat stories from Tygo Lee!

I couldn’t resist buying this book since I myself am for sure “hooked on cats”—I love them! The many short chapters are like an open buffet where you can enjoy a huge selection of tasty topics related to my favorite house companion. To name just a few of the treats: the revered feline in Ancient Egypt; different cat types in terms of their levels of domestication, breeds, colors, etc.; their preferred diets and famous cat naps; important aspects of their health care; eyesight, hearing, sniffing, and hunting abilities; and even their bathroom etiquette with litter boxes. Wow, and there are around 50 different topics in total! To top it all off, this book was written by (narrated to Tygo by) Freddy the Cat! Sure, why not? Summing up—a nice variety of interesting info, and lots of fun to read.

You will never find another book like this one. So special, filled with kindness, warmth, and wisdom, “All About Cats” by Tygo Lee is a great and fascinating read for everyone!
In his excellent work, the author endeavors to communicate the idea that cats are lovely creatures with the same emotions, feelings and character traits as humans and their inter-species union at its very best can be life-changing! I am a cat lover, indeed, but even if you are not, or you have not decided yet, you will be mesmerized by the first-person narration of Freddy the Cat and will find lots of useful, truly thought-provoking, interesting and funny matters on the pages of this bright and unique book.
The language of the book is so descriptive and contrastive, with exceptional lexical cohesion, full of vivid comparisons yet very clear and image-evoking! Cat’s history, their food preferences and attitudes, and so many other things are waiting for you! The author put his heart into his creation!
I loved every single chapter of the book, but there were some moments, which really brought me such great joy and a whole range of different emotions. I adored “In Bast we trust” with its absorbing and funny at times view on cat’s history and the description of the fantastic annual festival in the city of Bubastis, “Turtle Cats” and Freddie’s profuse talk on what will happen to him when he gets old and bald and “When Death Do Us Part”, pretty sad but wise and touching.
This book is a real treasure for all the lovers of furry little purring balls, and it definitely should not be missed. It is so inspiring and completely amazing, leaving happy, warm memories as an aftertaste!
