A Tour de Force!
In Jack Price's debut novella, should one be intellectually brave enough to engage it, there is a variable plethora of delightful language and story-telling. With similes involving stubborn old men and ancient scripture personified into a particular emotional state; one could easily be forgiven for believing the book in question was the work of Douglas Adams or Philip Jose Farmer.... perhaps even P.G. Wodehouse (except significantly darker...). This book is a pertinent study of mental and physical illness (amongst other things) & will leave you either celebrating your new found clarity of world-view... OR leave you convinced your clarity-of world view is actually symptomatic of your total insanity.
