Liberating Inner Eve: A Reflective Journey for Women by Bozena Zawisz is designed as an interactive and thought-provoking journey for women. The author, from a psychological point of view, has written a book to bring personal identity, strength and self-love into all women’s hearts and minds through an analysis of Eve in Genesis and Jesus’ New Testament, shedding light on a different viewpoint of the original sin that pairs with behavior and truths derived from the Bible that bring inner-emotional freedom.
By intertwining scripture verses, psychology, thoughts, temptations and intentions, the author speaks of women as God’s works of art. Focusing on the Bible’s way of interacting with others and obeying Scripture, mainly (referencing Jesus’ way), the author blends in her work selective quotes, philosophies/teachings, etc., of famous individuals such as: John Paul II, Faustina (A Polish Catholic Saint) and takes much from insights from Virginia Satir, her book speaks to the cultural and personal identity of a female, offering that respect and love is what is needed in both genders, male and female.

“Liberating Inner Eve: A Reflective Journey for Women” by Bozena Zawisz was such a sensible read. The author was able to bring out her psychological insights by incorporating biblical aspects at the same time. For me, this book is really helpful especially to the women who need more than psychological guidance. The fact that the book also focused on the spiritual teachings makes this book a worthwhile read.
I found the writing so engaging that it pulled me word for word, paragraph by paragraph. I also loved the fact that I can 100% relate to what the book teaches. And the fact that it also includes simple exercises to make me feel knowledgeable about the Bible teachings, it’s an overall amazing guidebook. I believe this book can really help women to literally liberate themselves. The concept was deep and beautiful and the prose was thoughtful. I would recommend this book in an instant!
