It's about how middling we are and middle means middle only like a big middle and class isn't school and outing's not a trip.
The Middle Class is under attack!
And not just by TheRich.
This poor poet has a shot at them too as he outlines some of the struggles and foibles of citizens as they fit themselves into the large yet poorly defined Middle Class.
Written in prose and rhyme with sympathy and satire being used to highlight our day to day existence.

Let’s bust the myth
About baby boomers
Especially Zoomers
One step in the tomb heirs
Where it all began
The hippie days
The laid back ways
The no man pays
First of all
Those hippies died
Some in war pride
Some sought peace hide
Lots along for the ride
Some just plain lied
But there were some riots
Protest for peace
Freedom release
Flowers
So, powers that be
They look, they see
Let’s set them free
From material gain
Let rip stay in pants
Let’s dole out loan grants
Let credit advance
Let hip be
No longer denied
The Boomers with pride
Took jobs in their stride
Ka-ching
The Hippies became
That old dreaded name
Capitalist
Now in old age
Some boomers grow sage
Reliving that page
They turned
Their dream world for all
Was only a call
We’re off to the mall
Honey
