Chips is an adorable dog who comes into the life of Liz and Max Whyld whilst he is still a puppy. He immediately takes up residence and although he is unwelcomed by the family cat, Paws, he quickly finds his feet and enters into many adventures including stealing Max's false teeth which are found lying about on the sofa, getting bitten by an adder and being hung from a railway barrier.
This book is sheer good fun from start to finish and the reader will find it hard to put it down and will want to tell everyone about it.

This is the author's story of a 10 year battle against the dibilitating disease, Ulcerative Colitis and subsequent surgery to have an ileostomy. Psychological battles have to be faced as he tries to survive day to day life knowing he will have to have a stoma for life. His Christian faith is the mainstay of this battle and the author gives many tips and advice on how a person can live, quite comfortably in this situation. The story is both inspirational and factual and discusses medications, side effects and the depression and fear that can so easily take hold. This is a must read for anyone with a bowel condition including UC or Crohn's Disese.
