Conversations between generations.
"Patchwork" represents the lives and stories of women living in rural Bambberg, South Carolina during a time period of approximately 1939 -1959.These God centered women created an atmosphere that allowed the participants to help their families.
Quilting was their point of focus; however this activity pprovided an opportunity to share their challenging stories.
Each of the families represented, was able to feel comfortable and supported as they vent, prayed and created bed coverings for their families. Their main goal was to share information, and promote the |
