After Nancy Nelson's diagnosis of early on-set Alzheimer's disease, Nancy began writing poetry, channeled to her in the wee early morning hours, from an entity far greater than herself. Helpful insights on an inside view to Nancy's world of diminishing memory.

Nancy wonders why she hadn't given AD an honest-to-goodness thought before then? After all, in 2002 her father passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease. /span>

Diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer's, and my memory going astray, I've come to believe WE ourselves must ignite the spark of hope and decide, what now? Communication is key in this fight for good health and a longer life lived well. Join me and become a partner in your own health! We cannot expect others to do for us what we are not willing to do for ourselves.Short verses and thought-provoking messages from someone much greater than myself is found in my poetic offerings. My father passed from Alzheimer's, I've been diagnosed, and I truly want something better for my children and grandchildren. I know you want that also...what if it is about what we can do for ourselves?
