Life's Great Themes

Have you ever experienced those troubling visions that refuse to be put into words, but leave you feeling like a pulpy mess of feelings? Seen the world change colour and spin, warp, fold, up-end right in front of your eyes... and found yourself wordlessly crying and saying, "I know this. I know what this is..." yet unable to name it? Today I was fortunate enough that the vision at least gave me geometric forms or designs to focus on so I didn't feel like I'd just been thrown out of an airplane into the sea to end up floating several meters below the surface. The images at least allowed me to breathe through their intensity.
Awakening to human consciousness is an awesome undertaking. It's not something that "just happens" as, for example, going through puberty or some such natural cycle in a physical life. Its deliberately seeking deeper awareness and finally "getting it" and making the jump!
Life consists of three aspects: spirit (primal energy or force); mind and matter. Many aspects of life come in threes. ISSA consciousness in entering its full humanity must pass a great test. It must confront its old nemesis; the terrible threesome of Creation, Fall, and Redemption.
Ah, you will say, how very Biblical, how very Christian!
Not at all. Religions from which were culled the many books comprising the so-called Bible have made a deliberate travesty of these great events. Why? Because religion's only purpose is to dis-empower individuals and prevent their coming to full ISSA consciousness. Religion is a treadmill designed to force individuals to remain unknowing, in contemplation of their collective navels, never looking up beyond the set boundaries of the System.
Look at number one: Creation. This was never the "once" event as depicted by religion. There never was but one benevolent Creator bringing it all to pass as a fait accompli in "six days" - or for that matter six eras or even six aeons. That's not how it happens. Not then, not now, not ever. Instead of calling it "Creation" let's just call it "Beginning" or better yet "Beginnings."
As for the Fall of Man, what is that? According to the Biblical tale, the "Fall of Man" consisted of violating God's status quo in "Eden" or where God rules. Man fell from grace before his God by disobedience, by failing to "do the will of God" as he had been ordered.
False.
Man did not openly rebel against some great and benevolent Creator but sought knowledge beyond what he was allotted. The "Fall" came about when Man awoke to a level of denied understanding that revealed his "nakedness" or ignorance. Man became hungry for knowledge and as is his nature, went for it wherever he could find it. The "will of God" was always that man should remain ignorant of his true nature. "Doing" religion -- I've done enough to know -- will validate my statement. Organized religion is by nature organized ignorance and the promotion of such in the earth. That is how it does the will of God. So let's not call it the Fall of Man, but rather "Separation."
Now comes act three in man's great awakening drama: Redemption. Here too organized religion intervenes, this time with "faith," the fake concept predicated on the fact that man sinned against God and only God can save man from eternal damnation. Long ago God promised he would save man from himself through the process of redemption, not by helping man learn and grow and become self-empowered, but by making him into a dumb worshipful slave. God would send a saviour who would redeem the whole planet. Of course there were the inevitable quid-pro-quos which guaranteed that the redemption carrot would remain out of reach but would be attained by those who faithfully followed the dangling bait after their death... well, maybe. Depends which one of God's manifold religions one ascribes to and even then, the results are predictable.
As a wag recently wrote, and I quote:
"As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell."
That's faith. That 's religion. That's comfortable and comforting and requires no effort on the part of the believer except to pay his dues, follow the rituals, live Right, vote Right and believe that in the end he will be on the Right. That's redemption?
False.
True redemption is Enlightenment. It is shedding the stigma of sin or failure. It is finally breaking free of the controlling nature of the Gods, and in this group I include Money and the State as lying partners with religion. Also included are the "lesser" gods that plague man's attempts at betterment: greed, fear, loneliness, hypocrisy, pride, lust, hate, distrust, selfishness and various spin-offs such as laziness and irresponsibility.
Redemption is to split from the herd and stand alone to face an unwritten future, hacking steps out of chaos as it unfurls itself from the clouds of "darkness" roiling beyond the deadly entropic certainty of time. Let's just say that redemption is "Enlightenment."
These then are the great themes of the awakening mind: Beginning, Separation, Enlightenment. The mind that is still arguing whether there should be commas or semi-colons between these great themes... is not a great mind.
