A near-perfect, divine-like entity enters Earth’s sentient web and delivers its chosen, and only meaningful, message: I love you.
Everyone, over seven billion inhabitants, hears this message.
What happens then?
Only what can, based on where the species is at mentally, socially, spiritually.
That is what has to be understood about a world such as this. A simple message like “I love you” just as simply cannot mean a thing because no consensus exists here to analyze, explain and finally, create communicable, meaningful,global understanding about anything at all.
While a world plunges towards planetary entropy led by certifiably insane, sociopathic megalomaniacs, billions of mind slaves continue to believe in the old order that “must of necessity” rule the planet or everything falls into chaos. People cling to their gods, or God or Religion (which of necessity must be superior and better than all others); their tribal notions (which must also be better than all other tribal notions); their nations (and ditto); their political reality (and ditto); their economic system (and ditto); their race (and ditto)… and so on. And within these groupings of mind slaves to race, religion, politics and money exist the barely conscious individual mind slaves, each with its own slightly different or aberrant concept regarding the group(s) and the whole’s understanding, or better put, lack thereof.
What you have on an on-going, never-changing basis is mindless cacophony, discordant voices erupting from ignorant minds interpreting events as best they can, or as it pleases them in the moment, unable to carry any substantial concepts that would allow them to achieve something meaningful. Even that simple word, meaningful, would set up a whole barrage of questions and ignorance-based assertions.
So our quasi-divine entity delivers its meaningful message and unleashes a literal avalanche of utter confusion.
Why? That too is only too simple. The only way such a message could mean anything is if an individual heard it and realized, at its core, that it can only have meaning and power when it is repeated to another with the same unequivocal intensity. “I love you” coming from space is only the dropping of the key on the threshold. It is up to the individual Earthian to bend down, pick up that key, and insert it in the lock that opens to door to full understanding.
