What's with the total recall y'all?

Everything from cars to chicken fritters. . .you name it, America has recalled it.

America. America.

Now people can't even respect our own products, much less consume them safely. The USA is a land we (well, most of us) still love to call home. It used to be a place where a consumer could trust something was made right the first time. Oh well, so much for them thar good ol' days. . .

America America! God shed his grace on thee and thine. But what in the world happened to crowning our good with brotherhood on the assembly lines and production plants?

As usual, I address this not with the typical rant. . . already did that on Nordette Adam's "Jersey Goddess" blog site with my razor strap comments on the annual "Pimps and Ho's Ball." Enter question Numero Uno. . .

1) Supposedly a drugged or drunk employee is a threat. What about the sober ones who can't follow instructions?

2) How can we defend labor unions when all the jobs are going overseas? (Somehow the old movie comes to mind. . . "It Takes a Thief". . . )

3) There's this bible verse that says in Proverbs I think. . . "Train up a child the way s/he should go, and when s/he is old they won't stray away or depart from it. How do we get corporate America to figure out that it's best to do good unto those who made you rich instead of selling the foundation of this nation out from under our kids? Wal-mart and McDonald's can't employ everybody. . . .or can they?

4) Do Hollywood and pro sports prima donnas who have money to charge us about $8 bucks a ticket to see mostly 76 minutes of excuses for entertainment--designed for the immature and the ignorant--even realize they are going to be in nursing homes someday? (Guess who's gonna tucking in Grandma y'all? The ones who never learned TO READ!!!)

. . . Bringing us back to the age old question:

Who's minding the education and the moral upbringing of our nation's youth who can text message all day and all night, but can't put a decent sentence together without saying "cool" or "dude!"?

I'll be one of the old keesters on the road in my Cadillac driving 55 in a 70 mph zone with a personalize licensed plate that says "Spent my inheritance on myself. . . and lovin' it."
