Suppose you Had to Walk?
Take a Bus ?
Hail a Cab ?
Could not afford a Car ?

Would you Like it ?

Po' Folks ?

Tom Hyland - (C) - 7/12/16

Since age 18, my first car, in 1959 ...
I have never been without an Automobile.
That is 57 years of driving, and Independence.

Unsure, but think the last time I took a Taxicab ...
Was in New York City, in 1988 ...

Honestly don't remember the last Time ...
I actually rode a Bus ?

So ... what does any of that have to do With ...
Po' Folks ?

Transportation Choices ...

With the Exception of a Few Million ...
Metropolites ... Like Big Apple Denizens ...
Who purposely use cabs, busses, and Subways ...

Most Inner-City Dwellers ...
Those on the lower income Levels ...
Either ... Ride a Bus ... Or Walk !

Those of us who have been Blessed ...
With being in the Proverbial "Middle-Class"
Should thank our "Lucky Stars" ...
For having the Convenience, and Independence...
Of owning a Vehicle !

Po' Folks ?

Bless 'Em !
