"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." - Albert Einstein

Background Information

Dallas first realized she wanted to be a writer when she was just a youngster. This need manifested throughout the years but writing didn't materialize until the age of 14.  Dallas spent many hours in her teens writing poetry and short stories. She studied Journalism at Humber College in Toronto, Canada - 1975, but circumstances forced her to leave college. Presently she has returned to her first love, writing. Her family, friends, and countless inspirations from other authors beckon her onwards. Dallas is also guided by the Spirit that moves her life.

Accomplishments

During high school Dallas was literary editor of her senior yearbook, as well as having a short story and some poems published there. She also had a poem published in the Toronto Sun while in high school. While working at Ontario Blue Cross some of her poetry was featured in the organization's monthly newsletter. Dallas graduated from a writing course through Writer's Digest in Spring, 2001. She also has many poems and articles featured in various Web sites. Dallas looks forward to adding new achievements, certificates, or awards yet to come.

In October, 2002 Dallas was interviewed in the Authors Den radio show with Roger Vizi. It was a great honor that was aired in Arizona and broadcast on the Internet too. She was blessed with having the most hits in the 'articles and short stories' category. A highlight Dallas will always remember.

Dallas also created, owns and operates another great site for writers called Sell Writing Online at:

http://www.sellwritingonline.com

Additional Information
