I've never been one to sit quietly and let my life pass me by. I've always believed in going for the gold, and this makes me too strange for some people.

The first books I ever remember reading were the Oz books. I've always been a voracious reader. Major influences? Margaret Campbell Barnes, Norah Lofts, Carolyn Keene, Diana Gabaldon, Mary Stewart, Victoria Holt, Marcia Moore, Jess Stearn, Agatha Christie, Dorothy Sayers, Ellis Peters, Edward Marston, Sharan Newman. I've been a hopeless medievalist for most of my life, always interested in the strange and magical. My interests in the Middle Ages and early Renaissance involve metaphysics, history, culture, and music.

Mary Devlin, Romance Author
This covers all my novels, and offers background information on each of them, as well as excerpts you can read for yourself.
The Sherwood Consort
This is the medieval group that I founded myself, that's been nominated for more than one award. We have a solid European following, though not much in the US.
Astrological works
I write short astrological articles for this site. You don't need to be an expert in astrology to understand it!
My Work in Opera
I've been singing with this group for four years now, and right now I'm getting to actually play a principle role in my very favorite opera of all time.
