I specialise in institutional strengthening, capacity building, HRD, strategic planning and learning systems. I am a human and social geographer, have a PhD, three other degrees and elementary school demonstration teaching certification. I have been a Team Leader and Adviser for over thirty-nine years in the following countries: PNG, Fiji, Marshall Is, Vanuatu, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Viet Nam, USA, India, Australia, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Laos, China, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Macedonia. I have worked on assignments for the ILO, UNOPS, IFAD, UNDP, OECF, AusAID, World Bank, ADB, DFID and Australian Government, during peace, conflict and post conflict. I have authored and co-authored professional papers, a small business textbook, novel, and short story collection. 

In 1998, I received a World Bank Group Award for Excellence in the Thailand Land Titling Project for significant development impact through outstanding client responsiveness, professionalism, partnership, teamwork, innovation and cost effectiveness as Training and Development Adviser.

Rednik is writing a new book about more weird people in Central Asia, and a biography of Sir Raphael Cilento.
