Haven't you noticed
how belittled
benevolence stands,
small thanks given
for health or wealth
gratis obtained.
It's when the bills
mount or the body
declines truly
awareness dawns.
It's human nature
to take lightly
the gems of life...
oblivious of the cost
involved
man drinks
the air,
as though
it
were
an object
purchased.

Accomplishments: Motherhood...the business of raising humans, moulding future generations...that to me is the greatest achievement of any mother; a somewhat taxing business if you insist on full involvement with the day to day affairs. But then again, there's always something to say, something to add to something already said, and so it is at every junction of a mother's life:
Dewdrops shimmering
in these words
carved
in a heart ceaselessly
adoring
the bundle of flower
keeping her world
forever fresh.
A gift wrapped
in primordial heavenly roots,
treasured,
unconditional love
blooming
in a garden watered
in tears of
expectations genuine.
If she bares her soul
every now and then
and paints her hopes
in black and white
it's because her darling's
great in her eyes.
