When Lisa's son was diagnosed as autistic, she turned to writing as a therapy.
The major influnce in her life has nothing to do with writing, but did have an effect on her decision to write again. Her son's first teacher taught her that all things are possible if you try and to never give up on a dream. That was really based on her son, but in a round about way had a great and profound effect on her. Ms. Shirley is and will forever be a member of the Rambo family.
Mrs. Rambo currently resides with her husband, Sam and son Brad in Amarillo, Texas.
Accomplishments
Her current work in progress, Who Killed Jedadiah James?, has tied for second place in the 2004 Panhandle Professional Writers Frontiers In Writing Contest. Cruel Fate also made it to the final round out of the six finalists, but it didn't place.
