I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from Stanford University in 1986.  Though I graduated with a degree in Human Biology, and have worked in marketing for the last 20+ years, I have always had a secret passion for writing.  And so after answering thousands of questions about my experience as a surrogate mom, I decided it was time to put my pen to paper and tell my story to the world.  I did not set out to become a writer when I offered myself as a surrogate to my cousin ten years ago, but I have enjoyed the challenge of putting into words the emotional journey of surrogacy.  It is a wonderful feeling to hold your published book in your hand, and while the moment I delivered a baby girl to my cousin and his wife was the most fulfillling moment of my life, the publishing of my book was one of my proudest moments.
