I became a writer out of my passion for telling stories. I have written since I was about six years old, when I wrote my first song on a small ukele that my father bought me. From there I progressed into music by learning to play the guitar (becoming a singer/songwriter) and also played the trumpet in the school band for a good many years at first chair. This eventually led to a time in the Christian Music ministry where I recorded two CDs and toured churches and coffeehouses for about two and a half years.
Thus I earned the handle 'The Singing Author'.
Today finds me writing middle-grade to young-adult novels. My current work is a trilogy entitled 'The Eafin Lokdore Trilogy'. The first book of the trilogy is 'Eafin Lokdore and the Magician's Lost Medallion' and the second book is due out in October 2007 entitled 'Eafin Lokdore and the Altar of the Sun'. It's been described by a good many readers as 'Lord of the Rings' meets 'Harry Potter'!
