I acquired polio in the last epidemic in 1953 a few weeks after I was born.  My folks were military and moved often.  I entered a creative writing contest as a small child and won a prize for the best description of a snowflake.  Since then, at times, I have attempted to nurture the creative, probably slightly insane (I'm a Christian, so I may only be slightly insane, or slightly less insanse)  urges to describe life as I see it.   I hope you like what you read.  I write it more for my entertainment than your enjoyment or torment, whichever the case may be.
