I've been writing poetry since I was in Middle School.  I wrote about love while in high school I wrote about sex. The passion kind of dwindled after I left high school I took a year off and wrote nothing. All I had were the ideas and thoughts of writing.  I would write down lines and promise myself that I would save them.  But of course like mose promises made to self, I broke them.  My inspirations are Gwendolyn Brooks, Edgar A. Poe, and yet to be discovered.  Now that I'm in college  the passion to write came back to me after I took a poetry class this last fall.  I felt the fire with each poem that wrote and felt it grow hotter with each criticism.  I was happy and overjoyed to be around people who shared the same enthusiam as I.  I searched for places outside the classroom where I could have peer interactions with poets and I really didn't find anything that would fit me.  Until just last week someone told me about this site and I decided to give it try.  

My poems range from sensual to your worst fears realized. I don't really try to sugar coat anything. I try to be as honest as possible.
