"The poems in this collection represent both a poetic travelogue of my journey through North and Central Vietnam in 2007 and a personal confrontation with the consequences of colonisation - and more specifically the lingering affects of the Vietnam War. The poets and writers of Vietnam have much to share with the world - many have lived through some of the darkest periods of their nation's recent history. This collection is dedicated to those writers and poets and to the people - living and deceased - that they sing about."
Yankee Doodle Daddy is a historical Appalachian Family Saga. The story follows a mother's reckoning as she struggles to survive and keep her four daughters alive.
