Walk tall this time of year and remember the good of just one week.

Feelings run like time in a glass spent after too much to drink. Here it is Friday and the day like many others is floating down the river once again no thought or place just time left to dwindle in a moment of madness. Children push the envelope once again old folks not understanding the makings of man just the makings of dollars on the paper. Still each of us, the ones that will benefit from what ever gets accomplished by either accident or on purpose. Time pushes on and either we march to the drummer or get left behind to clean up the droppings. So be it another work week left in the inferno of lost dreams and pieces of insight bravely thrown to the page of another story to be written at some point, take a little give a lot and kiss the rest goodbye. The weekend awaits and I will fall back into the rut but with a smile because I know Christmas is coming. The birth of a savor offers some time to reflect on the outcome of my mortal soul. Joy is on the horizon of a new week and a place in history. I shall make my mark. I pray you do the same. We need few more good men and women like you.

The New Debtors' Prison by Paul Lonardo

While Debtors prisons no longer exist, many people continue to be persecuted for crimes related to poverty or inability to repay money owed to municipalities. This practice remains in an injustice that needs to be rectified.
