This article, very short, is how my Mom and I were traveling back from seeing my grandmother and grandfather in town and we saw something unusual.

      Looking down Highway 26 from Grapevine to Colleyville, Texas, that June night of 1986, was very normal at first. Mom and I were laughing after having visited Granny and Gramps. Those are her parents. It was around 9:30pm and we were just coming up to Ross Downs in Colleyville near the City of Colleyville, Chamber of Commerce. This night will stay forever etched in my brain.

 

     Mom and I both agree that we saw a car come across our road path that night without its lights on. It was making a u-turn. I could actually see the windows and something that was a creamy color and beige on the inside of the drivers side! Mom saw this too! It sat in the middle of the road for a few seconds, THEN IT JUST DISAPPEARED! There were NO other cars on the road at that time, except for us and him, who ever that OTHER car was! We thought it might have gone into the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce BUT we would have SEEN IT!

Turns out, that night, about Two years ago, a policeman *died* making a *u-turn* in his patrol car on that very same highway at the very same time of night! Makes you think, doesn't it?

     Now, Mom is the kind of person that is responsible and not one to hallucinate! I was 16 years old at the time, made good grades and not the kind of person to have imagined things. This was my very first experience with the "paranormal". I have had many, many more experiences since then! Some were personal experiences and some were related by a friend or acquaintenance.

This is something I shall never EVER forget!
