You are great, each and every one!
I placed this little note to all of you under the subcategory of "Inspirational." Now, why would I do that? Quite simply because each of you-- and you all know who you are, just read "A Poet, You Say?"-- inspire me greatly.
For one, I've written more new poetry in the last few months than I have in a number of years. Of course, most of what you have reviewed in the last few weeks are rather ancient works: which I felt were rather amatuerish. Nevertheless, each of you have worked hard to convince me that I AM a poetess. And, about the time I begin to feel it might be true , I read another of your masterful works and know it's not true .
Still, each of you are wonderful and your writing is fantastic. I rarely send an email to you because I haven't much time to call my own: so this is my way of sending one to each of you great writers. Now, if A/D would make it possible to send out more than one email at a time, it might be different!
Lots of love, hugs, kisses and prayers~~ Bonnie Q

Bonnie YOU ARE A POETESS WITHOUT DOUBT, and a peer and friend for someone like me to look up to! I've always considered myself a poet but none of such magnitude in any form. I've always let the words and meaning up to each and every reader and from what is written how they may percieve it all.
May your holidays be full of much joy and happiness and I am hoping for my Christmas Wish to be fulfilled so I may continue on too!
((((Hugs))))

You are very inspiring to me, no matter what subject you pick to write about. I always finish filling better about myself. That is a very admirable quality. And I like your poems. We all write what's in our heart, we all grow a little with every poem. Sometimes we hit, sometimes we miss; the object is to keep putting it across. Merry Christmas, and thank you for posting this.

| i write poetry, but i don't consider myself a poet. i am more of a story writer. i have always had an easier time of writing stories than poetry; but when the urge to write poetry strikes, i'll buckle down do so (like yesterday, as a good example). but karla is the poet queen in my family! LOL good article, bonita; many happy days for you, and merry christmas and a happy 2004!~ (((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :D |

I don't consider myself a poet either. There are some magnificient poets in our den and their works shine like the sun. But we do our best and leave the rest to the eyes of the reader who is, of course, the final judge of our works.
Always enjoy your poems. Keep writing |
