Certain concepts are impossible to put into words; the words simply are not there: it is much like trying to describe a sunset to a blind man. It cannot be done; it can be hinted at, but using the term "color" to a person who cannot see would have little meaning. Using words for concepts that cannot be put into words cannot be done. Such concepts can be hinted at, discussed, and perhaps the listener can come to a general idea of what this
original concept was. Often much discussion will give an very good idea just what a particular concept actually is.
St. Augustine was a great and prolific writer in earlier centuries. He reached a point where he realized that everything he was writing was just like so much straw (these were his words). It had no meaning when it came time to face the ultimate and final concept of truth - there are no words available.
I would that it could be rendered into mere words.
This is the point where deep meditation is valuable. Meditation brings forth a great many concepts that cannot be expressed by words. Meditation is therefor a most valuable tool.
