With the Devil, at least the truth is out.
He wears prada but what of a Bob?
NO MORE BOBS, a lighthearted mystery
No More Bobs is a funny and enjoyable look into the life of writer Madison Lawhon, who has a rather Bob-filled dating past. Take it from a Bob, no good can come of that.
Madison's story opens with an appearance on a morning television program with a fat woman who speaks to animals and a voodoo doctor, and swiftly begins to add odd characters. Madison's dating history of toads suddenly means more than we think, as the fun cast begins to interact in this well-written tale.
Cynthia Borris' book should be on everyone's Christmas list this year. If not remember, No More Bobs in 2004! You'll be glad you did. Believe me, I know. - Bob Holt, AuthorsDen Humor Writer - Amazon
I thoroughly enjoyed this book even though it was aimed at a female audience. My wife also loved it and she is a very though critic. In addition, you could almost see the personna of the author as the story progressed. - Henry Lefevre, humor writer AuthorsDen and Suite101 Contributing Editor - Barnes and Noble
Real characters, engaging storyline and lots of laughs. Reminded me somewhat of Janet Evanovich - a light mystery with romance intertwined. My favorite character was Pete Jorgenson, the Pelican Point policeman. No More Bobs is a fun, intelligent book that leaves the reader feeling good. - Autumn63, Scottsdale, AZ - Amazon
Cynthia Borris has the gift of a true comic imagination. To my delight, I find that she has also the even rarer gift to create believable characters who dance so gracefully to the music of her marvelous comedy. - Thomas James Martin, author Crossings and Reflections
