This is written in response to a Yahoo group on writing. I left the scene for awhile but am getting back into it. For Tuesday the assignment was:


What  store best represents the type of person you are? Are you a Macy's or Wal-Mart type of person or some other type of store? Explain through your writing.

Going to Wal-Mart is fun yet a necessity because that is all we can afford and sometimes we cannot even afford that so we go to the Dollar General Store!

I will write more on this in detail later when I have more time.

Today is June 26th, 2004 and it is around Noon. I have more time to write and thought I would!

Sometimes we get our fresh foods, frozen foods and ice cream at Albertson's when we do not feel like driving half an hour to the nearest Wal-Mart to save on groceries! What we save on groceries we probably spend on gas! HONEST!

However, for canned goods and meats in cans, like tuna fish, we always, most ALWAYS go to the Dollar General Store! I believe it is the Secret of the Underpaid! When I lived in Jefferson City, Missouri I would go to the Dollar General Store in Columbia, Missouri. It was fantastic!

Yes, if you are having a financial strain and you have a Dollar General in town, I say, "Go to it and be Happy!" Wal-mart is always good as usual too of course!
