I wrote this April of 2004 - upon the death of a very special lady

Life is like a rose
It stems from the root of a bush

A bud is formed (childhood)
It opens a bit (youth)
Now it is full bloom (adulthood)

It fades, leaves fall, one by one
It is blown in the wind (death)
It then enters into new life

Life is like the ending of a book
A few tears are shed
Back on the shelf it goes

Never to be opened again
But the memories are
emblazed upon the soul

All LIFE must come to an end. The flesh will die and the spirit rise again into new life and when Jesus comes again, according to revelation, our bodies will be renuited with our spirits. This is our belief. May the souls of the departed REST IN PEACE
