Owl's acute night vision renders darkness powerless to hide secrets. Owl assists one in seeing past the illusions of shadows that are born from fear of the dark. Owl moves swiftly and silently through the night illuminating the beauty and wisdom that darkness contains within it, things that would be missed by those that suffer night blindness.
Owl illuminates the dark corners of self and others, it brings out the things we may try to hide from ourselves. People that don't want to look within may fear the presence of Owl and blame it for their own lack of integrity. Owl instructs us that it is a futile effort to try to use the cover of darkness to hide from mistakes or poor choices, Owl and our Creator can see effortlessly through any and all dark places. You aren't really hiding anything, only lying to your self and others.
Owl is a bringer of complete wisdom because it can see the whole picture. Owl is comfortable in places of darkness and light, it fears nothing of the cycles of nature.
If Owl swoops into your life, it is a sign and a blessing. It is time to let Owl guide you out of fear and deceptions, showing you that it's not the night or Owl that brings discomfort, only your own perceptions. Owl has invited you to see through it's eyes and awaken to the fact that the darkness you hide your secrets in doesn't really exist.
