With most of us, racing back and forth to the stores, searching for the perfect gifts, and the on-lines purchases we await to be delivered; lets be mindful somebody is going through Happy Holidays Mo Better Blues...
It never occurred to me that someone's joy can be sadness to another. I clicked on my keyboard in finding the perfect gifts for family and friends. I took to the department stores in search of finding good bargins to place underneath my Christmas tree. But little did I imagined someone is having Happy Holidays Mo Better Blues. Call it strange, but for many of us, this is a great occasion to spend with family and special friends, but for others this is the saddest time of the year for them.
As I was driving home in the dark of the morning after PT (physical fitness), tears began to swell in my eyes as the song played on the radio, and reminded me of my sister. It was Sade, and her song pierced my heart while I remembered my sister. We shared so much together, the happy and sad times; and now another Christmas will come, and she will not be here to share it with me. So I say this, to say that there are so many people out there that are feeling a sense of emptiness of a love one, a bad situation or an unpleasant memory of a Happy Holiday.
Let's share this happy occasion spreading love, doing something special for someone, giving a hug, knowing someone may not be feeling like we, Happy. Spread love this holiday, be helpful , and remember someone out there may be closer than we think that may be feeling Happy Holidays Mo Better Blues.

Yes, Loretta thank you for this write and sharing such needed words of compassion. Unfortunately, and sadly it is true "Happy Holidays Mo Better Blues" this season can be such a dire and saddened time for many. We both know that it can even be a dangerous time, for individuals that are unable to cope...that is why it is best to check on one's that may be or even seem lonely...perhaps they are feeling something even greater than the human eye can see.
Praying all can remember to set a space within their hearts for a person that may be experiencing the aforementioned. Blessing to you and a Merry Christmas Loretta~take care and Love to Our Troops around the world.
