poem about a life lost

LIFE FAIL

At the soles
of bloodied feet,
lie remnants
of an ill-fated life.

Desperate pleas
for rescue
fall hushed against
velocity’s devastation.

Broken footpaths
fail to leave a trail.

Anguished screams
are buried amid
the rubble.

Not bad Lisa. In fact, pretty good. Your poem left me wanting more but I enjoyed what I had. That's good news for any poet. Your poem reminds me a bit of one of one of my own poems (Comfort) in terms of style. Comfort is posted here in the Authors Den. I notice you only have one poem posted. You have a gift for poetry. May I suggest that you use it more.
