The Taste of Hate is the story of Senior Trooper Harry James and his investigation into a tragic accident that took the life of one Michelle Anderson. During this investigation, you will have the chance to view through the eyes of the investigating officer how small pieces of information form a puzzle where the actions of others are uncovered. Each piece of the puzzle eventually fits into its place, with each piece being dependant upon the other to form a completed picture.

An excerpt from chapter 1:

James ran with the trooper across the road. As he got closer to the ambulance crew they pulled back to let him through. Michelle was laying on a backboard and there was blood everywhere. Michelle was not moving and her right arm was twisted with her hand facing the wrong way. Her tight fitting jump suit was ripped and torn as if she had been cut with a thousand sharp knives and it was obvious she was not breathing!

James was yelling, “Help her! Oh God, please help her!” No one was listening. They were just standing around with sad faces. “Michelle, please baby, please don’t leave me, Michelle wake up!!” He attempted to hold her limp and lifeless form but her body was hard to hold, as there was no structure, her ribs and arms were all broken. James held her, kissed her, tried to will her back, but Michelle was gone.
