Please be aware of a deadly disease that is not easily detected.
Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) is a very rare and deadly form of breast cancer that many people, including health care professionals, are not fully aware of.
IBC is an accelerated form of Breast Cancer that is not usually detected by mammograms or ultrasounds. Also there does not need to be a lump present as this type of breast cancer can grow in sheets and symptoms can vary including a red rash on the outside of the breast.
Initially staged as 4B, IBC need to be aggressively treated right away. There are different types of IBC, one that is estrogen positive and on that is derived from a particular gene.
