Half Full, or Half Empty...

Sitting amongst a diversified group of people discussing an incident, my mind starts to drift in thought.

Why do some people see a glass as half full and others see the glass as half empty?

People who see the glass as half full, typically are positive people, mostly trying to find the good side of the situation.

Those that see the glass half empty, tend to be more negative people, who dwell on the bad side of the situation.

Decide for yourself if your glass is half full or half empty…

Imagine ordering a fast food item. You are in a hurry. The expectation is that it will be ready within two minutes, giving you ten minutes to eat your lunch, while you drive back to the office. Something causes a delay and it takes and extra five minutes to receive your food.

Would you be thankful the food is fresh or complain to the manager that it shouldn’t take that long?

Life is as positive, or as negative, as we choose to make it.

Interesting thoughts and ones we should remind ourselves daily...too often we want to rush our lifes away until we run out of time.
