Are psychics a valuable tool to the police in solving murders?

Another of my readers asked a very good question that I haven't entertained before. Are psychics an asset to police departments?

First, before any psychics write me, do what you do if you feel you can do it. I'm only answering this question based on my logic and understanding of law enforcement.

So now, a question I posed to my readers is...if psychics could solve murders (or anyone for that matter), don't you think that ALL police departments, including the FBI (serial case backlog) would have a psychic department? Better yet, if a psychic section were added to all police departments we would have no murders!

The answer to the question is no! The few, and I mean very few police departments that consults psychics are desperate! The crime is usually old and they can't solved it.

Listen folks, murders are serious. The crime of murder is a real and actual crime that takes real and actual detectives to investigate. No one will be able to solve the case without knowing the specifics of the crime. This is a basic accepted fact in police investigations! It's what detectives trained for!

There is one use for psychics though that may help a police investigation. What is it? They might helped the detective look at the crime in "another" light. In other words, a detective's thinking might be locked on a specific aspect of the crime and the psychic's "suggestion" might free his mind to think in another way as to how the crime may have been committed (so I guess psychics can assist). Of course this is something you or I could do as well but because he invited the psychic into the investigation he might be more inclined to listen to the seer (psychic).

Now, do you know my most concern about psychics in murder cases or many type of cases?  Some of  them rarely say "I don't know".  People, no one "knows" everything all the time, period!

The person that got me into this one, I won't forgive you !(smile)
