Short story sample
Nick sits in his bath tub with warm wet stinging tears streaming down his young blushed face. He lazily has one hand holding up his blonde curly head of hair. His eyes are so swollen that they feel like they are explode. He is so consumed by a series of burdens and emotional weights of agony. He looks down at his sharp peutered razor in a contemplative manner. Events of the past replayed in his head like an bad episode of t.ve shows that no one wants to watch, making him feel dizzy. Nick began to massage his temples to alleviate his inner pain. Poor Nicks' girlfriend just left him, which he has sworn his undying love to. When she left, she only left behind a note. "Dear Nick, I am sorry this is short notice, but I must go. I have not been happy and feel as if we are going know where in life. Your lack of control of your own life has caused me to lose respect in you as a man. I am sorry; I have been feeling this way for a while. Sincerely Kim" When Kim left, she took everything. She took everything of value that he paid for and took a chunk of money from his bank account. She carelessly left the screen door open which is the cause of the loss of his late beloved dog spike. The results of her taking everything from him resulted in most of his checks bouncing on bills and late fees bringing his accounts in the negative and a note of foreclosure on his house. Needless to say he was in a rut brought on by a sneak attack from what he learned to be his most damaging enemy, his girlfriend. His depression has left him with the decision to end his life and escape the burdens of his outer demons.
