Did you ever have a disaster in your home? Did you have to evacuate your home and stay in a hotel? Did your life get turned upside down while all the problems are sorted out?
Did you almost have a nervous breakdown trying to communicate with your insurance company trying to resolve problems? Did you ever wonder if your home will ever be livable again? If you answered yes or no to any question, read on.
When a disaster hits your home your life and your family's lives are turned upside down. If you need to move out of your home where do you go? If you have relatives or friends that will take you in go for it. But if that is not an answer your insurance company must move in and your family into a hotel/motel until your home is habitable.
When you move into the hotel the best way to eliminate any misunderstanding upon the payment of the hotel bill is to have the hotel get authorization from the insurance company. The hotel will then bill the insurance company directly. If you try to pay the bill and send the bills to your insurance company to get reimbursed later can cause a great deal of confusion for you and the hotel. Trying to communicate with your insurance company is completely stressful. Eliminate your most important problem of the payment of your hotel bill by having your hotel/motel bill your insurance directly.
