This recently happened to me. I have a cousin who lives 3000 miles away. We were brought up together and even though I don't see her as often as I like, that bond is still there and will never be broken. Her husband's death was a sudden and unexpected loss.
My family was in shock and heartbroken. Since I live so far away and the funeral was the next day I could not attend. I felt guilty for not being there for my family and especially for my cousin. Even though I was not there in person to share in this sad occasion,
I was there in spirit. I gave them my support by thinking about them. My love and prayers were with them. These two people were so special. They had a loving, caring marriage that lasted over forty years.
Their children and grandchildren love and respect them. Not everybody in this day and age has that kind of a relationship with their immediate family members. A marriage requires two people working together on a daily basis cementing their relationship.
They need to respect each other and make it a partnership. This wonderful couple had this magic, and it worked. My love to my cousin and her family. Thank you for reading my article. Please feel free to read my other numerous articles.
