Today I was notified that my Orphan Train Trilogy; Wildflowers, Bridie’s Daughter and Secrets are among six “Finalists” in The National Best Books 2008 Awards. Overcoming stiff opposition from many qualified authors of Historical Fiction has validated the many hours of work and deprivation.
