Six Weeks to a Healthy Lifestyle
by Betty S. O'Brian
Rated "PG" by the Author.

This exciting step-by-step manual has already trained thousands in how to change from the SAD (Standard American Diet) to a fresh, natural LIVE-it! In addition, it covers wholistic skin care, natural home care, and deep tissue cleansing. Learn about energy medicine and ways to incorporate it into your daily life - iridology, reflexology, reiki, sound healing, etc.

What is natural?  Why is it important for us to experience life more naturally?  These are questions that have come up through the years as I have watched people who eat poorly live a fairly long life, and I have come to realize that it is just not about the individual person.  It is about the entire earth and maybe the entire universe.  If each of us makes the changes suggested here, we affect our sphere of influence.  By lighting one little candle, we impact the world, and the whole world is forever changed.

This course was originally written to help others get a glimpse into the world of herbs, chakras, natural health, vegetarianism and the alkaline lifestyle as well as cleansing.  It has become a step by step guide to a life-changing lifestyle for most who take it.  Twenty years ago people smoked in stores and offices, even putting out cigarettes on the concrete floors of grocery stores and smoking in reading sections of public libraries.  Today we are appalled at even the suggestion of such ideas because a major shift occurred when the public no longer accepted those practices.  My vision of the United States in 2020 is that of a place where everyone gets access to organic foods, herbs are the preferred choice for illness as well as for the promotion of health, and where the lesson that “giving really is receiving” is accepted by all.

Today even the average American is looking at the chemical content of foods:  the state of New York has outlawed trans-fats in restaurants; Wal-Mart is developing its organic products, and medical doctors are joining the forces of herbalists and using complimentary healing modalities.  There has been a paradigm shift, and change is happening quickly.  We even have icons of health in the medical profession:  Dr. Andre Rocco, Dr. Andrew Weill, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Dr. Mehmet Oz and hundreds of others trained in natural living by these amazing integrative physicians.  My concern is for the person who wants to use natural means to heal or to build health; he or she needs guidance from an informed professional.  Often, people enter the little office where I work with iridology, sclerology, and naturopathy with medicines from the pharmacy and a bag full of supplements from various sources; sometimes they are feeling worse than before they started
