Press Releases are very vital for you as the author, where you have a book coming out, established author or aspiring author. So, if you want folks to know that you have an event coming up or a new book coming out, please make sure that you have as much information as possible.
Some of the items that should be included are as follows:
1) Bio. Your bio should include your name, where you are from, achievements, membership affiliations and website address.
2) Book. What is your book about? Who was the publisher? Where can we find your book? Target audience?
3) Events. What are your upcoming events? Who is involved? Where does it take place? What time does the event take place? Contact Information? Why should we come?
4) Your Contact Information? Include mailing address, phone number and email address
