The Little Red Car and Bigfoot

Our next children's book. Beau in a dream is flying just above the head's of several Bigfoot. He wonders if they are mean Bigfoot.

I wrote this story believing that everyone has dreamed he was flying. But I guess that just isn't the case. In a dream the little boy Beau sees several Bigfoot "playing" with a little red car that has plunged into a river canyon. They take turnes pretending they are driving.

All my Bigfoot stories are based on sightings. This story comes from a couple of Bigfoot observed in the woods pretending to chop trees down as the men they had observed early in the day doing.

The drawing is the animals hauling the little red car off into the woods so they can continue to play with it.

There is much more to the story. A group has formed on the road above and one man tells Beau he might just get his gun and bag one of the Bigfoot so that the mystery can be solved once and for all.

It's is a happy ending. The Bigfoot escape to the woods and Beau wakes up, eager to tell his grandma his dream.

I do my own illustrations.
