I am a member of the Black Caucus in my home state of Colorado. I just received an email from the chairperson of the caucus: Here is the message<<Today, Boulder High School staff found written on the walls- "The KKK is back and on Friday April 16th all black students will be killed". I believe all of the thrashing of president Obama by the republicans is inciting racial tensions. I am by no means a racist who sees things only one way. My husband of twenty -five years is caucasian. I am truly troubled with what is going on in America right now. Something must be done before it is like the 60's all over again. We may not all agree with what Obama is doing, but he is after all the president. The disrespect towards him is setting a very bad example for our youths. It would be really nice if the leaders would restrain themselves and show a certain degree of class and respect towards our president. Do we really need to revisit the past? I am afraid that is where we are headed, if things continue the way they are.
