We all need a little help when it comes to getting motivated to do what it is we have been putting off for too long. All it takes is some planning, desire and passion to begin ,and once you do that you will certainly be glad you did.

MAD AND GLAD

Have you ever been mad because you have been putting off something you needed to do? Welcome to the club, all of us have been there, done that.   One way to approach the situation is to start thinking about what it is you want to do. It might be helpful to make a list and then number it according to what is the most important. The first step to overcoming procrastination is to take some action.   Paint a mental picture of the finished work, then make a concerted effort to start working on what it is you want to do.
Nothing is more rewarding than accomplishing a worthy goal, the positive sensation you will feel in most cases can motivate you to start on the next thing on your list. Why stop now? You might as well keep going , doing so will make you glad. Yes! Glad that you were able to finally take the initiative to complete a task you have been putting off for far too long.
Another thing you can do is to seek help from a friend who might have an expertise in what you are trying to accomplish.  I have made numerous attempts to organize and de-clutter my pantry.  After so many tries, I got very discouraged and gave up.  One day while visiting with a friend for lunch, I noticed how well organized her pantry was.   At first I was embarrassed to ask for help, but I garnered enough nerve and politely asked for her help.  She was more than happy to help.  Now my pantry is well organized,  instead of spending an eternity looking for items, I know exactly where everything is.  Think about  the  fun you can have working side-by side with someone you trust and admire .   This can be an "Aha" moment for both of you.  I am glad I sought out help from my friend, I am sure,  you too will be glad.  Guaranteed!
