Cocoa Can Lower Your High Blood Pressure

Yes you have heard correctly, Drinking 5 cups of cocoa a day can lower your cholesterol. By a study at Harvard University one in every three American have or will have high blood pressure. Harvard’s research reached into the Kuna Indians off the Caribbean coast of Panama. In this area high blood pressure doesn’t even exist.

They eat sugar and salt just like us Americans but they do one thing we don’t do and that is drink at least five cups of cocoa a day. The Harvard study found that this was the secret to lowering blood pressure.

Not only does the Kuna Indians not have high blood pressure, but they have less strokes, heart attack, diabetes and cancer.

Wow! All this from cocoa. There is an ingredient in cocoa call flavonols. It stimulates your body production of nitric oxide which in turns boosts the blood flow to your heart, brain and other organs.

A Harvard professor even claims cocoa can treat blocked arteries, congestive heart failure, stroke, dementia, and impotence.

There is a special cocoa to drink not any brand will work.

Why are these fabulous break through studies only written up in medical journals. Why can’t the public read about these fabulous new knowledge without reading a medical journal. We need more information about these important studies conducted by our scientific community.

We want to get well. We want to eat the right foods and drink the right drinks but we don’t hear about that. We only hear about what is bad for us to eat morning, noon and night. On television, the radio, in magazines and of course lets not forget the huge bill boards with children eating candy, chips, soda, French fries, etc.

We need to eat healthier and we need to have this information at our finger tips like the stuff they scream at us from everywhere which is bad, bad for our health.

Thank you for reading my article. Please feel free to read any of my  articles on various subjects.
