The UW-Arboretum offers a variety classes to both members and non-members. Some classes are lecture type with presenters that are experts in their field and others are tours through the Arboretum lead by Arboretum naturalists or graduate students.
September 19,2010 from 11:15 to 2:45 the Arboretum is sponsoring a “How to” Conference for Gardeners. Topics include: How to Use Natural Stone; How to Create a Native Woodland Garden; How to Establish a Native Rain Garden; How to Design a Native Garden; How to Garden with Mosses; and, How to Attract Native Pollinators. The conference includes lunch and cost $60 for general public, $51 for members of Friends of the Arboretum and $30 for students.
