It's the Holiday Season once again, and our thoughts and efforts are preoccupied with "gift-giving", and maybe "gift-receiving". The very life blood of our nation is the economy and much of the economic success is dependent on our buying during the month of December, and so, the gift purchases you make have far-reaching effects. Amid the hustle and bustle of the Season, often our focus becomes fixed and we may lose ourselves, (as well as our money), and the vision of what is the greatest gift ever bestowed.
That gift is You. You are a one-of-a-kind original, and from the day of your birth you were meant to be "presented" and shared, an expression of Love, Hope, and Peace. This gift has been wrapped with the experience of a lifetime, only sometimes we can forget that it is only a wrapping. No gift is meant to be an empty package decorated with ribbons and bows. It is what lies beneath that is the true present.
Life's wrapping can become binding and a ribbon can become a rope. Experience is revelation, not incarceration. The paper that surrounds us is fragile and can easily be removed if only we Allow it.
Life is the gift of Expression, and your unique expression is the greatest gift you can give. It is also the greatest gift you can receive.
