AFTER EFFECTS
Who’s to mention the after effects of drug use?
Tens of thousands wasted
When about time,
Sometimes,
When it’s time to come off,
The convulsive pains,
The episodes
Many, like me, have tried to quit
Then for their trouble
Psychosis,
An evil ploy to take your life
Strife,
A tangle so twisted
The shame of what I went through,
Hard to comprehend,
Voices in my head
Months of prayer
Radio station surfing
Mindsets are so dangerous
All the time knowing God will help me,
Satanic bind trying to kill me,
The Lord almighty,
Prayers to him
He overruled and saved me
So thankfully
